Lagos is very close to the sea and rising sea level brought about by climate change, it's time for the government to rethink it's drainage system. Underground drainage and many more should be the way

If the government can't provide adequate and proper drainage systems, they could at the least, get trucks to pump out water from flood affected roads.

In an ideal situation, you'd have underground drainage that can't be polluted and clogged with garbage (as the garbage would have no access in the first place), coupled with water pumping trucks on standby, waiting to suck up water from roads that are in bad shape.

Our generation needs to get it right!! Most of us are already exposed, but somehow, we keep letting selfish, short-sighted, tribalistic and sometimes, outright dumb people to get the job, sigh undecided
