You can get better Nija Used cars lower than that budget. You will even save more from registration and plate numbering. I bought a Nija used CarinaE wagon 6 months ago at 550k and I've not visited a mechanic except once to change oil. I drive with AC all the time and have not had any problem with the engine.

All you need to do is go with a good mechanic to assess the car.

where can i get a clean naija used carina E with auto,factory A/C for that same price?

Sorry I'm not a car dealer and so might not offer much except advice. My carinaE is manual. I went for manual because they consumes less fuel, has more power and are easier and cheaper to mentain.

I got a dealer's number from NL who refered me to his colleagues in Surulere. I test run the cars they offered and discovered that they were trying to rip off my pockets with junks so I left them and decided to check other car dealers around that location. One of the cars they tried to influence me to buy even lost a brake while I was test running. It was a horrible experience and I was lucky that people in the street came running with stones and woods to stop the car in motion. Though I did not go with a mechanic, I sure know a good car when I see one and I was lucky to find it.

Just move around in a location where people sell cars. Tell them what you want and if you see one, go with a mechanic if you dont know much about cars. I bought from surulere. If you lve closser to there, just go there and begin your search from barak bus stop. Make sure you dont go with cash. You can conclude the payment in a bank when you are satisfied with what you've seen. If you live around Ikeja, just give me your email and I'll refer you to a trusted friend who is a car dealer there.

In all you just need to be patient in your search, if not, you will end up buying a junk a day after a clean car with reasonable price is offered to you.

thanks for the advise. though i dont live in lagos and not really conversant with lagos. but i have friends there. what i would like to know from you is what area in lagos can one check for naija used cars. somebody told me around magodo area. pls advise me. thanks
