Security sources in Edo State have confirmed an early dawn raid on OiI Farms Estate Amagba, Benin reportedly owned by Mr Osagie Ize Iyamu, the factional candidate in the rescheduled Edo 2016 September 28th Guber polls.
Sources report that several arrests were made of 'People with dubious intent ' as described by Police while a considerable amount of automatic rifles and hand guns were discovered within the Cassava bagging plant and slaughter house sections.
Also discovered were patterns in the fields depicting positions of ballot boxes and Accreditation materials.
The raids and arrests come barely a few hours after the arrest of a Militant warlord General Peres Ayamakoro at the Constantia Hotel, Airport Road said to belong to Mrs Ehi Igbinedion, wife of former PDP governor of Edo who is rumored to bé Ize Iyamu's sponsor for the Gubernatorial race.
