There will be no United States in 200 years. I doubt that there will be any nation states as we have them today. The Earth is in huge trouble right now, already beyond the tipping point. We’re running out of everything. Fresh water is a problem all over the world. The United States is already removing water from the Great Lakes in violation of international treaties. That will only buy some time and will not do anything for the west where the Ogallala Aquifer is pretty much used up. You’ve probably heard about Las Vegas and the Colorado River.

Internationally, it’s worse. India and China will fight a war over Himalayas water, they will have to. The oceans are close to fished out, so many species have been reduced to levels from which they will never recover. Hundreds of islands that have been covered in birds for as long as human beings have been mariners are now vacant. No fish equals no birds. To say nothing of what Fukushima is doing.
