Import from overseas to keep other employed is the best thing to do. Later cry there are no jobs for our youth in Nigeria.

Is it by excessive importation government would create jobs for unemployed youths?

Your kind has rendered this country useless in terms of self reliant economy.

Custom revenue December 2013----- 85 Billion Naira
Converted to Dollars in 2013 at exchange rate of 160---- $531 million.

Custom revenue August 2016-----95 Billion Naira
Converted to dollars in 2016 exchange rate of 320------ $296 million.

Why is this government so bent on deceiving the public. The inferiority complex of this government is messing things up badly. Always looking to compare itself with Jonathan's government.

Nonsense, when you are calculating duties at N305 -$1 & costs about N 3.5 million to clear a 40ft container. Why won't you have bogus figures to post as increased revenue at the destructive expense of local businesses.

Why won't you kick when you are using Nigeria as a dumping ground for foreign good. Naija must change.

The cost of clearing a car in Nigeria is far more than the cost of the car itself, God will surely punish all of you that is creating problems for the masses...

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) generated about N977.09 billion revenues in 2014 from its target of N1.2 trillion for the year,
according to the service’s summary of monthly revenue figure obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

the whole lot of incompetent fools in this administration don't even know what they want to achieve, the only things they can manufacture are bogus figures and excuses!

Absolutely spot on. The calculation is not even on 305/$1. For the month of August till date it's been 313/$1. The impact on the local economy has been devastating. When importers are left groping in the dark searching for forex which is definitely unavailable.
