Due to limited number of qualified personnel capable of servicing and repair of most household appliances, particularly in the Lekki axis of Lagos, I am thinking of setting up a technical vocational training centre on the Lekki - Ajah axis. The areas to focus on are as follows:

1. Electronics Appliances Repair (TV, Blender, Microwave, etc)
2. Generator Service Repair
3. Air Conditioner & Refrigerator Service and Repair
4. Sewing Machine Repair
5. Plumbing Works
6. Electrical Wiring & Installation
7. Solar Panel Installation

The requirement to be an instructor is as follows:

1. Minimum qualification must be OND, but graduates of Engineering preferred.
2. You must have had practical experience in service and repair of any of the above (either learnt formally or informally through apprenticeship). Ex-technicians with major appliance companies e.g LG, Samsung, etc will have an added advantage.
3. It will be preferred if you are a resident of the Lekki - Ajah axis.
4. The job may be on full-time or part time basis.
5. You must have enough knowledge about the chosen field as you would be responsible for developing the course content from scratch, and advise on the necessary tools and equipment required to start up.
