In the first thread I opened, www.nairaland.com/3341881/denominational-error-series I was dealing with critical issues in the Christian Faith, the error of clergy and laity system and the believer's priesthood. The scriptures must be received with an unbiased attitude (it is hard to forgo the things you have accumulated for years).
I will also want the readers to look for these books:
a. Normal Christian church life by Watchman Nee.
b. Let my people go by David W. dyer (agrainofwheat.com).
THE TRUE ECCLESIA (Matthew 16:18).
one of the instructions King James gave to his translators was that the ecclesiology and hierarchial structure of Church of England must be preserved (no wonder we misunderstand lot of things).
Ecclesia is "gathering of called out ones". The gathering of the Elects is the ecclesia. The Congregations of the saints are not the following:
A. Denominations (fire fire church, money don land group e.t c). Denominationalism is the work of man. No Apostle ventured into denominationalism. It is the quest of men to tear the body and make it theirs. If you have started any denomination please repent and apologize to those you have deceived. It is the Old man that led into many factions we have today.
Pastor in your bid to keep your denomination, you have perverted the Scriptures to build your empire. Disciples of Christ are no more raised but lovers of money and unrighteousness. It is against the Prayer of Jesus (John 17:21).
B. Sects, Organizations or Mission work.
THE REVELATION OF CHRIST'S CHURCH
There are men who will object and some will say "I am a Church of Christ, the only true church in the world". They may follow the new testament 'ideas'. They may boast that they are not like other denominations that is run by Pastors.

1. THE GENERAL CHURCH
(Heb 12:23).
The body of Christ is a conglomerate of Saved Souls on earth. 1 cor 12:13, " For by one Spirit we were all baptized into
one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether
slaves or free, and we were all made to
drink of one Spirit". The truly converted man is immersed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
2. LOCAL CHURCH
The gathering of the called out ones were addressed by their localities.
a. The Churches in Galatia (gal 1:2).
b. To the Saints and faithful brethren in Colosse
(Colossians 1).
c. To the Saints who are in Ephesus.
The churches in Asia minor, Jesus addressed were independent unit separated by geographical location (Revelations 1-3). They did not have a headquarter where a General Overseer preside over them. The local Churches were spiritual entities and not the Physical. The sent ones (Apostles) were Lord's worker who despised all odds and won converts in ministerial journey. After those ministerial journeys, they point out spiritually mature brothers in those (gr. Cheirotoneo) who will serve the called out ones and care for the younger believers; lead them to Christ who has genuine authority in the body.
