it might suprise you seing this topic. But i have not been free inside me because of dis.
in my PPA accomodation is not condusive as it lack most of the necessary infrastructures and perhaps am the only corper in the school so i decide to rent a room outside.

Let me go straight and concise
the name of d compound is white house, very decent, with 5 buildins all fence with about 10 families and others few singles.
Wen i park in at first i was not steady so d was no such issue. But after sometimes she started giving me cook food and even raw food like yam, onions etc although i do reciprocate to her two littles kids. I do tak dem in FOC home lessonso we are close. Her husband is in a different city doing business, he comes around once in a while: she is like a mother . Recently she connect her light to my room; since no light in d state: Ondo.
She seldom ask me if she should bring me food i will hurriedly say no.
Because of economic recession i do plan my meals so i will not run out of d small Alawee, i cook once in a whil. Her food do help, but am not comfortable when somebody give me something i dont ask for regularly, something i can afford by myself. Please advice me what should i do? Am no ok with dis i dont know wht to do. Other nibors are there i dont have any issue because d dont give me food. Few giv me raw food once in a while.
Pls mature advice. thanks corpers wee!

If person come talk say u no get sense nw, e go be as if he's insulting u.
One thing u shld knw is dat youth corps members are held in high regards in some parts of the country cos it's a call to service.
Moreover, they knw u aren't really working nw nd ur allawee is too small.
Again, u take her two kids extra lessons, which i'm sure u re doing it 4 free. Even if u dey collect money, it's still natural to also help u out in the one nd only way possible, food.
If u no want d food, begin dey decline am na nd stop opening thread open such minor issue.

The woman is giving you food because she respects you as a corper and hopes that you become somebody great after your service so you can remember her.

Wow,reading this just put a smile on my face.
I don't see anything wrong with her gesture at all,in my village at Edo state, some men/women can feed you till eternity though they might also be lacking in one way or the other.
Just accept her good gesture, eat, play and never think negatively toward her deeds.
The problem is that you're not free with even yourself alas this thoughts.
Is your PPA in Ondo town?
