The worst enemies of progress working against President Muhammadu Buhari are not in the opposition parties, but in his own national ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
They are political rogues and political title chasers who are using his image of an anti corruption crusader as the camouflage of their evil greed for money and political power.

If President Buhari and the EFCC cannot deal with these corrupt members of his Presidency, then the EFCC should stop harassing former aides and ministers of the past administration under former President Goodluck Jonathan.

If President Buhari wants to succeed and win his political war against corruption, then he must start from his closet and gaze at the man in the mirror and remove all the makeup and face the real image without the camouflage, otherwise his war against corruption will be nothing more than a political mirage.
Who is fooling whom?

The EFCC is becoming a laughing stock, because people can see that there are still many political untouchables, President Buhari and EFCC cannot prosecute, because they are above the law.

The CBN cannot be overlooked in the war on corruption, because the apex bank knows all bank accounts of those who stole from the local government to the federal government.
Many officials of the CBN have questions to answer, including the former Governor of CBN who is now the Emir of Kano.
There are unaccounted debts of millions of dollars in loans given by hurriedly liquidated banks, including All States Trust Bank, Intercontinental Bank and others swept under the carpet. Gratuities and pensions of millions of workers have been stolen and the CBN has all the records.

The cases of corruption in the federal ministries of education, health, works, power and others since 1999 to date are unprintable. There are still corrupt practices going on as we speak.

The corruption in the Federal Ministry of Works can be clearly seen in the several abandoned government buildings in Lagos State.
Billions of dollars would have been recovered from the abandoned cases of corruption in the abandoned Federal Secretariat Offices in Ikoyi, Independence Building Office of Ministry of Defence, NIPOST Offices in Obalende and Onikan and others.

The millions of dollars the EFCC is harassing and embarrassing the former First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Ebele Jonathan for are peanuts compared to what the CBN is still hiding from us.
They are more than enough to end the present economic recession in Nigeria if these billions of dollars can be recovered.

Leadership is best by example.
If President Muhammadu Buhari and his cabinet cannot practice the sermon of their "Change Begins With Me", then it is nothing more than a grand political scam.

And yes, I visit quite a number of these ministries, and usual complain is that "Bubu blocked the leakages" - mostly due to the TSA implementation.

There is still stealing, no doubt about it. But can it be at the scale of the previous administration?

But when the "untouchables" are still commanding the political ruling class, the campaign against corruption will fail.
