I agree with you. Gen Buhari was part of that history.

And Nigerians voted for him. You have to ask; What were they thinking?

You are just emotional, just one year in office and you have turned from a so called big supporter to something else grin If your earthly father was the President and we have this economic mess, na so you go deny your father abi? you were never a supporter so chill. grin

Don't mind them. They think progress minds can easily be railroaded into group thinking and madness. Progressive minded people look critically at the situations. There is nothing new in Nigeria, some even think we have been in a continuous downward economic developments despite huge earnings at sometime. i.e. we had been in depression in the past decade. To expect that even the more organised planned Arab economies are in recession and our own tattered economy running on criminality would be buoyant is the height of stupidity.

This is for the lazy zombie chanting charlatans, ipoo yoots, enemies of progress who just read headlines and start waking cuming all over the thread with toxic waste comments.
**** brought about by senile conjugation! Why didn't the economy dive into recession in 2014 and 2015? Oil accounts for 13% of the economy but 90% of all sub sectors of the economy are in recession. Also, oil prices have been on upward trajectory sine 2015, so why are we blaming oil prices now?

U sabi pass those wey dey talk. cheesy scholar, ride on.

In 2012, even ur goddess warned about recession when was sliding low. The silly question u asked about 2014,and 2016 just shows u are one of those ignorant clowns that dirty the Internet. Perhaps other opec countries experiencing reccession and UAE/Saudi on the brink of reccession also have a dullard as president. cheesy

I don't recall Saudi/UAE being in recession. In fact, Saudi is floating a $2.5tn Mega Sovereign Wealth Fund and it has hired JP Morgan Chase and Michael Klein Inc as advisors on its IPO- hiring professionals to do the job.
Folks like u were shouting let's kick out JP Morgan and Chase when it warned that it would delist Naija from emerging market index.

Folks like you praised GMN for refusing to explore Intl financing options from world bank, ADB, IFC and IMF; calling them all sorts of name. Now, your hero is negotiating with them after he has driven the economy to recession.

Your hero, for about a year, refused to put together an economic team to proffer fiscal policies. He also kept interfering with CBN functions by insisting that there was no need for forex liberalization. So he halted monetary and fiscal policies for over a year.

For your info, the largest source of Forex into the country is thru remittances, Naijas in diaspora send close to $30bn every year, but his interference with CBN duties, forced it to pay Nigerians N199/$1 when in fact the black market was paying N330/$1. This blocked really huge forex inflow to the country.

He also stopped forex outflow from the country for a year thereby sounding off of panic alarm to foreign investors that their investments were at risk. This also put a lot pressure on the foreign reserves because FDIs were thirsty for forex in order to get out since a new sheriff of capital controls and financial restrictions was in town.
So for over a year this economy was on auto-pilot. He also partly killed the economy with unguarded utterances.

Did u just say Saudi and UAE are not in recession, or at the brink?
Where do I actually have to start with u from.
I didn't bother reading with that first statement alone.
