The Recruitment and Appointment Department is one of the Core departments of
the Commission and is made up of two divisions namely Recruitment,
Secondment and Transfer Divisions.
The Core functions of the Department are as follows;
(1)     Collation of vacancy positions from MDA’s
(2)     Processing of Recruitment of eligible graduates into the Federal Civil
Service.
(3)     Arranging for interviews by placing advertisement for vacancies in National
Dailies, Television, Radio and the Internet.
(4)     Processing of all applications for Transfer of service or Secondment into or
out of or within the mainstream Federal Civil Service.
(5)     Issuance of provisional letters of Appointment or Transfer/Secondment of
service to successful applicants.
(6)     Regularization of Appointment after six (6) months of offer of provisional
appointments.
(7)     Issuance of movement forms and staff changes
(     Any other duty assigned by the Chairman.
(9)    The Department is made up of a Director, two Deputy Directors, three
Assistant Directors and host of other Administrative, Executive, Secretar

The commissioners are meeting tomorrow morning by 11:00 AM.All you need do is to expect update on the site. APLs are ready and arranged for distribution. Commissioners decision tomorrow will determine when the site will come up with the update and it may be parallel to the meeting. Glue to your internet-enabled gadgets brothers/sisters.

Lolz... I guess the meeting was held by us here on nairaland and the outcome is we should just go and wait. Its obvious none of us here has any insider with valid info on this whole thing. Let's just hope this waiting doesn't last till friday again.

The details and pictures of some of the commissioners has been removed from the website I.e the commissioner representing ADAMAWA,GOMBE and TARABA, the commissioner representing BAUCHI,BORNO and YOBE, the commissioner representing JIGAWA and KANO, the commissioner representing KADUNA and KATSINA, the commissioner representing KEBBI,SOKOTO and ZAMFARA and the commissioner representing LAGOS and OGUN. I heard that there tenure has expired too. They chairman and all this commissioners were appointed at the same time

this recruitment has been concluded. I don't know what is delaying them from issuing the appointment letters.
