Google continues to release OTA updates for its line-up, it seems Nougat for Android One devices is on its way

The latest reports suggest that Google is rolling out Android Nougat
for Android One devices such as the Cherry Mobile G1. The
smartphone is among the latest Android phones running on Google's Android One devices, which seems to
be the main reason it was updated to Nougat before other similar
devices.

While the Cherry Mobile G1 is the first to receive the Android Nougat for Android
One devices, reports suggest more updates. Other Android One
devices are also expected to be upgraded to the latest version of
Android in the upcoming weeks if not sooner.
