There is no doubt about the necessity for LASTMAN when it was created, at a time lawlessness had completely taken over our roads and the need to instil discipline in road users, the existing traffic managers namely the police and the FRSC having been overwhelmed or completely incapable of managing the traffic situations due to their inherent corrupt tendencies.
However, as it is always the case with every good ideas in this part of the world, the much applauded LASTMAN is fast becoming a behemoth just like it's predecessors.
the level of extortion among the previous traffic agencies is a child play compare to what LASTMAN are engaged in.
Though Gov. Fashola is trying but this is still a black spot in his administration and a stain on his achievements, LASTMAN is authoritarian in the sense that once they arrest you, there is no appeal even if you've been arrested evidently wrongly.
Fellow nairalanders, I want to create a thread where we can share our experiences in the hand of this LASTMAN Officials.
Thank you.

Fashola cant be at all places at same time, and it is impossible for him to solve all problems.
I am sure there would be a way to report this to the authority, so try and check that out, report them and let us hope they will do something about them.
