Graduate Internship Scheme, Mr. Dennis Chukwu, said that 41,161 graduates have benefitted from the Federal Government’s career development and entrepreneurial training.
A statement by the spokesperson for the scheme in Ondo State, Tewogbade Latona, on Tuesday, said the scheme was being monitored by the Federal Ministry of Finance.
The statement said the projector director was represented by a top government official, Mallam Abubakar Bah, during the graduation of the participants.
Chukwu emphasised the need for the country to harness its enormous youth potential for national development.

The statement read in part, “The project director disclosed that so far, 41,161 graduates have benefitted from the scheme with 68 per cent of the graduates being male.
“The objectives of the training include enabling graduate interns to utilise the period of the training to develop useful skills and positive work ethics. It is also aimed at exposing participants to opportunities for life after internship.
“Also, the training provides participants with the opportunity to share experiences and contribute to service delivery.”
