Yesterday, new set of facilities were commissioned on the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base Makurdi, Benue state, as part of ongoing effort to boost personnel welfare. The facilities, 5 married accommodation for pilots, 20 studio apartments for students of the newly established Air War College and gymnasium, were commissioned by the former Air Officer Commanding, Tactical Air Command, Air Vice Marshal JO Babalola (rtd).

State-of-the-art facilities for the benefit of NAF Officers and Nigeria at large. My fear is always on Nigerian sick mentality to maintenance. Audit these facilities in 5 years, you will regret ever proposing and financing the project in the first place.
