ssup guys am currently an undergraduate studying information technology cheesy but i dont know the certifications i should go for cry. can any body please help me out, cheesy

it depends on the area of IT that you want to specialise in. I am doing a B.sc Computing and have only just started my second year. I am learning programming( java been my first language) so all my modules av been tailored towards programming. Before the end of 2007, i hope to do java certifications and some bit of Microsoft Certified application developer as well.

SO if you are into networking, look towards Cisco, MCSE, MCSA, if you are into databases, look towards oracle or Microsoft database administrator (MCDBA) and if you are into multimedia, then you might want to do certification with macromedia e.t.c.


If you like information systems, then doing a IMIS wwill be good, check www.imis.org.uk
