Attention!

This is the press statement from Anambra state police command today. I believe it is related to the planned protest by IPOB tomorrow.

The leaders of the protest should act thoroughly to ensure lives are not lost and the protest conducted peacefully. Again the police should mobilise its officers and men and give the protesters adequate protection

Security is everybody's duty. No one should take laws into his hands. The police has the duty to protect and guide protesters to avoid some elements and enemies of both govt and IPOB from hijacking it to cause mayhem.

Their is no harm in peaceful protest.

No lives lost? But it will be the Police and Army shooting tomorrow, yet they are asking that no lives should be lost?

You mean federal police under the instruction of Major Gen Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) undecided

Anambra does not have its police outfit.

- see how squeezed a police circular is...more like tissue paper or akara wrap.
- I trust some boys would have copied those numbers on the sheet to scam by asking for BVN no etc

MASSOB(Uwazurike) and IPOB(Kanu) should stay away from Anambra or face the Naval gun boats. We don't want anything that will disrupt our ongoing advancement as we have left the rest of the pack behind..

Well calling for people to stay indoor which is a form of demonstration, it's okay but we all know that an average Igbo man will be lamenting on not making money within this stipulated period.

Also, the elements of IPOB and MASSOB who claim the protest will be peaceful may use this avenue to invade and cause mayhem which is now necessary for security agents to check mate their activities.

In short, are they really unified in this campaign of theirs?

IPOB agenda was dead on arrival. Kanu is only an attention seeking learner as far as this Biafra thing is concerned because he failed to make it an inclusive one. This movement lacks the characteristics of a struggle because there is no genuine basis for it. No wonder there's been no intensive intervention of any sort.

The IPOB protest is (by design) to keep the jobless ones amongst the Israelites busy & to also keep their e-warriors @their desks. grin
