PRACTICAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION TRAINING COURSE ON UPS, INVERTERS, CHARGE CONTROLLERS AND TRANSFORMERS

IPM Technologies will be conducting a two to three months skill acquisition programme on theoretical and practical design, construction and installation of high and low power full UPS and inverter systems. The training is very affordable and aims at providing practical skills on how to develop a low cost and highly efficient alternative source of supply that can be used in homes and places where needed. Comprehensive training materials and study guide together with circuit and simulation diagrams will be made available to trainees for reference purposes. The programme will cover:
• Theoretical analysis of the inverter system: working mechanism, functions, parts and sizes.
• Design considerations and construction of the inverter(DC to AC) system
• Design calculations and winding construction of a power transformer
• Design and construction of a fast and safe charging system and charge controller system showing full charge and low power
• Battery system and charging analysis
• Design and construction of a short circuit/overload protection system
• Design and construction of a swift automatic change over system for uninterrupted power supply
• Cable sizing and installation considerations

NOTE : Any individual from any discipline can apply and for registered trainees, referal bonuses will be given to them in cash depending on how many interested candidates they can enroll into the programme

DATE: 8th October – 17th December 2016 (Saturdays or Sundays classes depending on choice of trainee)

VENUE: 1, Alake Lakonko Street beside TSB web school, Off Liasu Road, Ikotun-Idimu Road, Lagos State.

TIME: 2-3 hours each day.

REGISTRATION FEE: Registration is FREE as no one will be told to make any payment before training commencement.
