A member of Living Faith church, aka Winners Chapel in Durumi, Abuja, shocked onlookers yesterday, Sunday, September 18, when he pulled out a gun, threatening to shoot officials of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC officials) for telling him to put on his seat belt, reports .

According to an eyewitness, the man was pulled over by the FRSC officials for not using his seat belt but rather than admit his offence, he claimed he had done nothing wrong. When the officials insisted that he had committed an offence, the man who was already boiling with anger, threatened them with his gun not minding that there were other people present.

An Eyewitness wrote:
HELP EXPOSE MAN WHO PULLED A GUN ON ROAD SAFETY SPECIAL MARSHAL WHO TOLD HIM TO USE SEAT BELT!!!
“Is this your friend or relative? If yes, expose him!!! He is a danger to the society. After first service in Winner’s Chapel, Durumi, Abuja, this man pulled a gun on a Road Safety official for daring to tell him to wear a seat belt. His wife too didn’t have her seat belt. This happened yesterday, 18th September, 2016.

“The man and his wife were asked to wear a seat belt by a Road safety special marshal as he was driving out from the church with his wife and family. He refused and they (special marshals of road safety) tried to stop him by standing in front of his car, he moved his car to crush them and they banged on his door. He came out with his gun, pointed it at a marshal, corked it and threatened to shoot him.

“Note: He was carrying his family, including children. Other passersby who had their children are still traumatized. Please share with every institution that bears arms in Nigeria and mandate them to produce his identity.

“Look well, he may be your uncle or Neighbour. Expose him for public safety. He attended the church service. Winner’s Chapel should help hunt him down. Now is the time to know if number plates are traceable by Road Safety.”
