Presidency Shivers As Biafra Referendum Gathers Momentum by gabinweb: 11:20am On Sep 27, 2016
Report making waves across the nation has it that there is serious pressure being mounted on presidency to obey the United Nations Charter on self determination and conduct a referendum in Nigeria to know Biafrans stand on one Nigeria.

The report also alleged that president Buhari was warned to desist from further violating the rights of the detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and ensure his unconditional release from the prison.

A source disclosed that Buhari revealed during a meeting he held early this month with northern leaders, that urgent attention is needed to resolve ongoing agitation by many groups as world leaders are on alert to resist any deliberate attempt against human right violation and call for referendum.

The source added that Buhari, however suggest that Biafrans would be allowed to secede if and only if the Niger Delta people are to remain in Nigeria.
