Mr Osita Okechukwu,the Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, on Wednesday September 27th stated that with the current political situation in the country, the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra was no longer feasible. Mr Osita disclosed this at a gathering of the Abuja chapter of the pan Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Okechukwu observed that the lack of unity among agitators have made the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra more difficult to achieve. He said “If we must tell ourselves the truth, the greatest obstacle to the actualization of Biafra, was glaringly demonstrated by successive national conferences; the Abacha Conference and Jonathan Conference. In each of the two conferences, the issue of region was voted against by Enugu and Ebonyi states. those clamouring for biafra should elect at least 80% of their rep in all chamber, state to nass, so as to promote it. the fg cant arrest all your senators, rep and state legislator neither can all of them be suspended, but if you still want the path of protest on street, constituting nuisance, our legal thugs(irrespective of the tribe or religion) with brain disorder will always show their color to you |
