Hello Nigerian students, how has been the session? Hope the work load isn’t much. Here in the University of Ibadan it is really stressful, but 2nd semester is usually fun filled. And now the dean cup just started in the University and its really fun.
Today, there was a friendly match between the students of UI, Economics department and Law faculty. The match kicked off exactly 11:45am as the weather seemed favorable. The players were on high morale as the referee regulated the game as he took control of the game as get the game time as 35mins per football half.
After 5mins the economics department defender caused a foul that led to free kick which caused to the first goal of the game. Some mins later the law defender committed a foul that led to an equalizing goal. Exactly, 12:02pm law fac. scored another goal as the goalie couldn’t make the save.
Three mins to the end of the match a penalty was awarded to the economics department as a result of the hand ball caused by a defender who tried to clear the ball. The player scored as that resulted to a draw. Immediately after the free pass the referee blew the first half to a close.
After minutes of rest the second half kicked off, and each players played to take the lead. Luckily, after 13mins of the game another penalty was scored by the economics students as a result of a hand ball caused by one of the players.
The entire pitch was surprised as the Law students led with an addition two goals as the they added to goals to theirs and not long the entire pitch game was over with law leaving a 4 – 3 lead.
Well we played well though,we are sure to win the dean’s cup but we just didn’t win guess the position I played .Lol, Cool the GOALIE.
