We've heard a lot of negativities about Nigeria but the problem is what do we (Nigerians) do about it. Most of us find ourselves outside the country, and all we do is to join outsiders, foreigners badmouthing our great country. It hurts me a lot.

The reason why it's difficult for the positives of Nigeria to outweigh the negatives is because we speak negatively of ourselves everywhere we go. It's our fault. Yes, we are the cause.

I'm still waiting to see or hear of an American degrading his country in the presence of foreigners. Most of them can die just to protect an ordinary national flag because it isn't ordinary to them.

I'm of the belief, no one can bring us down except we give them the power to. Therefore if any one should bring you down it's simply because you allow yourself.

OP, I'm proud of you. It's good to know there are fellow Nigerians out there who do not just believe in the greatness of Nigeria but also know who She is, Her potentials and what She's capable of doing.
