Hi all, I have sealed an arrangement to import some goods from China. But I need an Insight of the Cost of Clearing a 20 Feet and 40 Feet Containers when the goods arrives Lagos Port either Tincan or Apapa. I also want to know the duration of the clearing process as I need to get a total run down of my expense and time from ordering the goods to shipping and clearing it. Thanks as I expect your invaluable responses. NB: The goods in question are not contraband |

Though I'm an importer not a clearing agent, but from my exprience the cost of clearing will be in the following ranges; 20ft - 850k to 1m 40ft - 1.25m to 1.4m please note that there is no fix cost, but I will advice you use the upper range to be on the save side. Then for duration, it normally takes 30 to 45 days to arrive Nigeria ports. MAESKLINE is faster nowadays. Then clearing is normally within 10 working days if your RAA and other documents are available on time. Goodluck. |
