The star was snapped hours later as she jetted out of the city, and landed in New York to seek comfort from her husband, surrounded by a 'Presidential level' of security.

The rapper was pictured shortly before as he left to meet the star at the airport, hours after he was forced to cut his show short in New York, midway through a performance of his single Heartless, when he was told the news.

It comes amid claims a terrified Kim begged gunmen to spare her life when she was held at gunpoint.

The reality star was left "badly shaken" after five armed men posing as police officers forcibly entered her room and put a gun to her head.

As the realisation of what was happening hit the star, it's claimed she "begged" her attackers not to kill her because she has "babies at home" that she needs to take care of.

According to TMZ , the robbers bound and gagged the star before forcing her into the bathtub and locking her in the bathroom.

While she remained restrained, the masked men ransacked the apartment and stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery.

After her attackers fled, it's thought that Kim managed to free herself from her restraints and call for help.
