Nigeria Cannot Run From The Law - IPOB by Dilijingsly(m): 2:44pm On Oct 06, 2016
– The Indigenous People of Biafra has said that Nigeria can escape from the law which is bound to catch up with her – The group said there is no remedy for Nigerian government’s appearance before the ECOWAS Court of Justice The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that Nigerian government has no option but to face the law at the Economic Community of West African States Court of Justice. The group in a statement said Nigeria was already hopeless in the case against it by the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu before the regional court. IPOB also said there is no remedy to appearing before the ECOWAS court. “Nigeria is an enclave where nothing works and can never work because the system has been so rigged and programmed for a catastrophic failure,” IPOB said. The group also said Nigeria is a country where mediocrity is celebrated as institutions like the federal character gives legal backing to such. Read the full statement below: “This explains why in a country that claims it has educated people a cattle herder has the temerity to even present himself for the highest office of the country knowing fully well he is not qualified for such a position and instead of making sure he is sent to prison where he belongs for breaking the law the inhabitants of this animal kingdom is celebrating a law breaker as they also celebrate thieves in Suits and Agbada. “The system has so bastardized the psych of the people to such an extent that those who are not criminal minded have no chance of a decent living. “Those who cannot break the law with impunity and bags of stolen money have no chance for justice at the court of justice. “Now you may begin to understand the attitude of the Nigerian government together with its security apparatus to the case instituted against it at the ECOWAS Court by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. “The way it works in the contraption called Nigeria is that when government intends to bring or institutes any legal action against its citizens for whatever reason, the DPP (prosecuting department under the Attorney General of the Federation or of the State as the case may be) or the Police (who in normal climes has no business with the nitty-gritty aspect of prosecution but Nigeria is far from being a normal clime ), goes shopping for a compromised officer of the law in this case a judge and hands over a prepared script to the judge to implement. “A very good example is Justice John Tsoho who was brought in to handle their baseless charge of treasonable felony with promises of elevation on the Bench to convict the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by all means. “On the other hand if a citizen musters the courage to sue the government or any of its Parastatals and agencies or politicians (animals in power) the judge before whom such case is brought if such a judge is among the very few that still have a semblance of reason in them, intimidation and threat to life will be employed to discourage such a judge from entertaining the case if the judge did not succumb to be corrupted through bribery. “The foregoing are some of the reasons the Nigerian government is running scared as a result of the case brought against it at the ECOWAS Court by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. “When the matter first came up they employed what they no best to do by trying to intimidate the Honorable Justices of the ECOWAS Court and found out to their chagrin that these are men of honor. “Now they the Nigerian government through its AGF has resorted to delay tactics to frustrate the case as they are wont of doing in Nigeria but again no dice as the Honorable justices of the court have in an unequivocal manner made it clear that the court will not allow itself to be distracted or delayed by the antics of those who do not understand hard work and meritocracy. Nigeria may have succeed in running away from the scheduled case brought against it at the ECOWAS Court not minding the fact that the date for this case was communicated to both parties months back. The question that then arises is how long can Nigeria run from the law? Nigeria may have succeeded in running away from court today but can it HIDE from the law, can it HIDE from justice? The Law will catch up with Nigeria sooner than letter and then Justice shall met out its sanctions on the fugitive contraption called Nigeria.
