No. The difference is registration of people. The Kenyan govt has a database of all its citizens and mobile money depends on those details as a basis of identification and transaction. Other countries with no such database like Tanzania have also failed in implementing the system. The other great driver is agency. Unlike in Nigeria, mobile companies have agents in every corner who are ready to serve customers and to help with any issues. It's closer to the people. |

very true, nigerians have bad reputation. that is why even microfinance people like to avoid them because they are perceived to be untrustworthy. them guys are just effing into illegal shit, emirates airways have insisted on payment by card only on Brazil route to weed out persons with poor credit ratings who are given sachets to swallow of you know what. khaaa!!! |
