Hello, by the grace of God, am a landlord by inheritance!

I hired a lawyer to take care of the house located in Abj.
The lawyer takes 10% of the yearly rent, now a tenant is giving me headache, I told my lawyer to file a DCC and quit notice, then he said I should give him 20k to do that and follow up the case till the tanant pays and quotes the house.

My questions now are:

1. What was the 10% of rent he gets for?
2. Is it normal for me to pay my lawyer before he start work I.e ejection of tenant.

Since advice needed.

B4 you gave d lawyer d house to manage what agreement did u reach with him. He will need money to file court process n follow d case to conclusion. You can price him 10k and watch what he will say
