Justice Ademola Adeniyi: What's A Judge Doing With N300m In His Bedroom? by Wadeoye(m): 3:51pm On Oct 08, 2016
DSS team reportedly arrived Justice Adeniyi Ademola's house in Abuja asked him to come out, but he claimed he wasn't home, however, his cellphone signal gave him away. He was subsequently arrested with at least N300million found in different local and foreign currencies in his bedroom.

These are people we expect to deliver judgement on money laundering cases.

Due process my foot...

Did they follow due process while destroying the country and brought us to this point?

What is the due process in a judge keeping N300m cash in his bedroom? Due process requires that such huge money should be in his bank account and/or declared. Someone who has not followed due process as a judge should enjoy due process when the consequences of his actions stare him in the face.

People like those judges should be thrown in jail without trial.

Mods pls you to certify or subject most monikers to sanity test before admitting them. Who cares how much was found in his house? All we are demanding is, follow the laid down procedure in arresting these people, their actions are offences created by law so follow the procedure same law provided in effecting arrest. You can't turn yourself to God because you are the president of Nigeria. Where is Maryln Oga? Where is Ita Ekpenyong, former DG dss? no position lasts forever

There is no law that prohibits having such money in ones bedroom. What you should be questioning is the source of the money and not why the money should be in the bedroom.

The only thing demonstrated by all of the vocal support on here for Buhari's actions is that many Nigerians have absolutely no understanding of the legal and constitutional norms that underpin free and orderly societies. I guess that shouldn't be surprising in a country where people are routinely burned alive for "theft" by lynch mobs.

For those doubting the truth or otherwise of this, this is a corroborating link from Premium Times: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/212351-exclusive-untold-story-sss-raids-judges-homes-abuja-six-states.html

I've always had suspicion about that judge. Just a few days before Jonathan handed over, he threw EFCC case against Timipre Sylva despite all the barrage of evidence EFCC presented. Why the FG should ever lose a corruption case beats my imagination. Imagine $300,000 found in his home, aside naira.

Were those currencies stolen? Do not call one a thief until it's so proven. Now I'm scared to be wealthy in my own country.

I'm still wondering how DSS team Sat down to count such amount of money while trying to arrest someone in his bedroom. lipsrsealed

Very few bank branches have as much as 50M overnight in their vaults.

The only reason such money is in his house is because he doesn't want it traced to him.

Haba! 300Million Naira

Guy what is the due process by Nigerian law when you want to deal with a judge that has been found to be corrupt or has received bribe? I didn't ask you to define due process for me.
