Official language or not offical language, we NIGERIANS are NOT english people. We should not be compelled to speak correct english. A large percentage of we Nigerians still carry slave mentality in our heads. It is easy for us to laugh at someone when they dont speak correct english but yet, we dont feel ashamed for not being able to speak our native languages fluently.


Personally, I prefer when Nigerian commentators speak pidgin english.
