Gombe is a great state for service and its actually one of my choices. It is probably the fastest growing state in the north now - development wise and even economy. And one of the most peaceful in the north east along with bauchi. All this people with there crucification of north self I no understand. See you can make your service year wherever you are the best you can have, but it depends on you. Someone can have it literaly worthless in lagos and bountiful in sokoto.
All these negative orientation are baseless and are coming from people who all they know about north is what they got from the media. I hope you get a state that will make your service year worth it. But let go of them say and be hopeful as you pray for the best.

My Ideology about North changed when I got admission into Futminna, since then it's always Ben North.

you are very right about Gombe, i should have put that state instead of my 2nd north Kadunna but i don't want anything that will jeopardize the chances of my first choice. My brother pleaded with me to choose their instead of Plateau sef but am very sure that i will be visiting their cos i influenced my close guy to put there as his first choice.
