Governor Willie Obiano led Anambra State government to receive and honor Paralympic Athletes from Anambra State who won laurels in just concluded Rio paralympic 2016, in a grand style. Namely Ugwumba Flora Ifeyinwa (Gold Medalist) & Iyiazi Njideka Eucheria (Bronze Medalist), who made Anambra State proud in the area of sports. These individuals went to represent Nigeria and not just any state I'm still baffled why the federal government or the sports ministry hasn't organized any round table for them as far as I know I only get to hear of just state government welcoming them and one gets to wonder if it's the states they went to represent A little get together and anything attached will serve as motivation to do better next time and for others to put in their best to bring laurels to the country But what do I know BTW congratulations to all Paralympians 9 Likes |

Mopolchi: Must u be this low. Did u open the link to find out more. The gold medalist was given N1m with an automatic employment in Anambra state. While the bronze medalist was given N1m and promoted cause she is in civil service b4 she went ƒøя the games. Their national and local coaches were both given the sum of N500k each. 3 Likes |

Eucharia Njideka Iyiazi was my class mate back then in secondary school. We come from the same town NRI. We no dey carry last at all. NRI amaka!!!  BTW, I don't think Njideka participated on the last Rio Paralympics games  |
