Napoli reportedly could try to sign former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba on loan from the Montreal Impact as a replacement for the injured Arkadiusz Milik.

Napoli is mulling whether to make a move for Didier Drogba on loan, according to Calciomercato.

The Serie A side suffered a huge blow when Arkadiusz Milik suffered a cruciate ligament injury during Poland's 3-2 win over Denmark in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

And with numbers short up front, Napoli reportedly is exploring the idea of signing former Chelsea man Drogba on a temporary basis from the Montreal Impact.


The report, however, claims Napoli has confidence in Manolo Gabbiadini and will only look to sign Drogba as a short term backup option.
