The former Governor of Anambra State Mr. Peter Obi admonished pupils of LGEA primary school, Olamaboro local Government, Idekpa Imane,Kogi State to be steadfast with their education, assuring them that with proper education, including intellectual and moral formation, they would become leaders of tomorrow. Obi was speaking when he visited them.

Obi who interacted with pupils, entertaining questions from them, assured them that though education might seem difficult to acquire, but that it had lasting value and influence.

Obi presented a cheque of 1 million Naira to help them in the rehabilitation of the school.

The people of the community who came out en masse to receive him prayed for God's abundant favour upon him.

Speaking, the leader of the community, Oche Agbo Okpabi Linus said that words and actions were not enough to thank Mr. Obi for the visit, saying that it was the first time the community is hosting a high-ranking personality.

The community leader said they were humbled by Obi's mission, which, according to him, was entirely humanitarian.

You mean there is an Igbo community in Kogi?? This news to me. Why hasn't Ohaneze done something to get them back into Anambra? We are still complaining about the Igbo communities stuck inside the lower Benue.

They are part of igala/igbo mix in kogi Anambra border they speak Igbo language but is an unfortunate that state created by military juntas have separate them from their brethren in the east.That's why they end up like this,we will extend our hands to our people across the divde,those that we can identify with

Igbos in benue state are facing the same discrimination by the same people that suffer igbophobia in Nigeria.
