A video has emerged showing a traffic police officer and a civilian involved in a heated exchange in a parking lot.

The man then pushes the officer and shouts at him. This provokes the officer who hurls an insult at him.

The exchange escalates and results in the two exchanging blows.

The video shows the civilian protesting what he says is harassment by the police officer.

The parking lot looks like somewhere in Nairobi as buses that commute within the city can be seen passing in the background.

The incensed man then pushes the officer and goes for a stone. As he tries to hurl it, the officers hand him a punch on the nose that leaves him bleeding profusely.

The man is in tears. He walks to the officer's motorbike and topples it.

He then sits and cries out loud. The officer goes up to him, holds his face and requests him to lie down. He administers first aid to him before the clip ends abruptly.
