What is 4G? 4G is the most advanced and fastest wireless network. LTE stands for “Long Term Evolution”.

What is the difference between 4G and 3G?With 4G, you can download a 1GB movie within a few minutes instead of hours or a 3MB music file in a few second instead of minutes. 4G is multiple times faster than 3G. With 4G, you can get download speeds of more than 50MB per second!

Can it work on every smartphone? Unfortunately no. Check your phone's specs or it's network settings to know if it supports 4G.

Which networks support 4G in Nigeria? As of 16th October 2016, only MTN, Glo and Etisalat do so.

Presently, the service is available only in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt. If you're in one of those areas, then you have to go to the nearest MTN office and change your sim to a 4G enabled sim.
