It was really a period and moments of joy when the chibok girls were re-uniting with there parents. it took place at the presidential villa Abuja on Sunday 16 October 2016. Minister of information and culture Lai Mohammed, duly represent the president at the church service in Abuja. Gloria Dame, one of the released girls who spoke on behalf of the remaining girls, said "we stayed for one month without eating any food." She also spoke on how narrowly they escaped during captivity: “I narrowly escaped bomb blast in the forest. I never knew there would be a day like this.
