Working endlessly to achieve the charter of NANS for quality and affordable education in Nigeria, President Aruna Kadiri after his successful intervention in FCE Zaria' tuition scam met with the management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State.

Comr. Kadiri in the meeting on Friday October 14th with the Vice Chancellor Professor Ignatius Onimawo which lasted for almost 5hours, spoke on the urgent need to reduce the over 400% increment in school fees.

Also in attedance was the Dean Student Affairs, and other key lecturers of the institution.

“The fees will not be reduced, the Vice Chancellor insisted in the meeting. It ended in deadlock as President Kadiri also stood his ground on behalf of Nigerian students, “it should and must go back to Status Quo”.

NANS is therefore using this medium to ask our students in AAU not to pay school fees until the ongoing discussion is concluded.

Lastly and very important, you should remain calm and law-abiding. Be rest assured, the new leadership of NANS is committed to the good of Nigerian student. We will keep you posted as events unfolds.
