This is comparing apples and oranges. Ali kiba is an undoubted star in East Africa because he sings in swahili. He serves his target audience well hence his popularity in Kenya and Tanzania.
Wizkid does his stuff in English / pidgin. Different audience.

Ps. There are many music stars in Africa. There is a music scene in Ethiopia, Congo, rwanda,south Africa etc with all their local stars.
