BORUSSIA DORTMUND



The instantly-recognisable yellow and black colours of Dortmund sell for 393,000.

JUVENTUS



Sad to see Serie A make an appearance so low down the list with Juve selling 452,000 shirts.

PSG



One of the three Ligue 1 teams in the top 20, PSG have made big strides to sell an average 526,000 shirts.

ARSENAL



Kit maker Puma took over the responsibility in 2013 and that’s helped Arsenal shift 835,000 shirts.

LIVERPOOL



Despite not winning a league title in 26 years, the Reds’ PR machine is strong with 852,000 shirts sold.



CHELSEA



The 2015 Premier League champions complete the top five with 899,000 shirts sold on average.

BAYERN MUNICH



The German juggernauts won the Bundesliga four times in the period of the study, selling 1.2m shirts.

BARCELONA



The La Liga champions are in a distant third with 1.278m shirts sold on average per year.

REAL MADRID



The white of Real is popular in the UAE and that’s replicated across the globe with 1.65m sold.

MANCHESTER UNITED


The Red Devils regained their status as the number one shirt seller by shifting 1.75m jerseys per year from 2011-16
