I think the government will simply repeat their foolishness. The shiites will radicalize at the same time the boko harm lies dormant. Then the millitary gets to fight war on 2 fronts.

"Chief of Army Staff and a procession of Shi’a Muslims belonging to the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in Zaria led to the army’s destruction of the Shi’a compound and the massacre of over 300 men, women and children. In response, the president wondered aloud why civilians should have the temerity to obstruct an army general’s convoy and poured scorn on the idea that the army should be investigated"

"Not surprised about this right up. Buhari the former millitary dictator expected to be progressive don't make laugh. The Shiite and Sunni battle will boil over because these type of intolerant ideologies can't coexist with other sets of people. These type of people always want all other parties to submit. When the extreamism kicks in these states will be the first ones to act surprised.
Katsina, Kaduna, Kano and Kebbi states have outlawed the IMN. In the past week, the home of a local Shi’a leader in a Kaduna suburb was razed in a mob attack that claimed three lives."

"Sunni counter parts in action distubing peace. They bann their brand of Islam but not theirs that fostered boko haram. Led to death of 10 of thousands, hundreds displaced, economy in shambles, and starvation.
Indeed, in 2001, one particularly bloody sectarian upheaval in Jos was ignited by a dispute over who had the right of way after a Christian woman driving home was obstructed by Muslim worshippers that had taken over the road.

These incidents stem not from a fundamental unruliness on the part of worshippers but from the failure of the Nigerian state to enforce basic law and order."

Nigeria has real issues enforcin laws instead of doing it across board they selective pic a d choose fight based on who's in charge. Example being cattle herdsmen clashes in multiple states across federation.
