Lately this issue has been raised on countless occasions with different opinions from parents and guardians. This is a very important Debate Topic to not overlook if our aim is to make the society a better place to live in.

According to the WHO, sex education should be imparted on the children who are 12 years and above.
Sex education taught with the right motive can help prevent a lot of societal vices. It is considered important for societies that its individuals are well-informed about sex, sexual practices, child sexual abuse and sexually transmitted diseases. Young girls won’t be deceived by what they hear about sex because they have already learnt about it in school. Sex education can help avert sexual abuse because the kids will be taught to know the difference between good and bad touch. Boys and girls will learn to understand their bodies and thereby control sexual urge.
On the other hand, Most teachers who are given the task to teach sex education are not expert in that field, and it may lead to giving wrong information and also adopting a wrong way of teaching the subject, which may leave a wrong impression on the child. Some student might want to practice what they’ve learnt to actually know how it feels. Some teachers will try to exploit their students, which they might succeed in doing because these students will believe that the teacher knows a lot about it and probably whatever the teacher is doing is totally right.
Like many other Topics, Sex Education has it’s own advantages and disadvantages which I listed few above.

What do you think? Share your reasons so others can learn a thing or two from it. We are all teachers.
Will talk to your child about sex?
Do you think it should be included in schools curriculum?

Well,in my on view,it is a good thing, and it will be of great importancd if handled with professionality, otherwise it will merely turn to rascality...Nowadays you will see explicit pornographic materials or rather films in the hqnds of a 12 year boy,and when this boy finished his obnoxious act and went to school,a teacher will teach him sex education?he will just be aroused! And perhaps some teachers will even be advertising those sites which a child ought not to know,e.g a reckless teacher may ask a pupil:have you ever watched porn\sex?you will find good ones on bla bcla bla sites...
