News has filtered in that Rev. Fr. Willy Ojukwu is dead. According to a reliable source at the Directorate of Social Communications, Catholic Arch Diocese of Abuja, Fr. Ojukwu died in the early hours of this morning at a Monastery in Ijebu Ode where he was spending his vacation in retreat after a medical trip abroad.. He was untill his death the Parish Priest of Holy Cross Catholic Parish, Gwarinpa, Abuja. Father O, as he was popularly known by most of his admirers and parishioners was the pioneer parish priest of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama, Abuja. He set a record for being a Parish Priest that commenced the construction of a magnificent church building and served to witness its dedication within a record time.
