In ancient times and years gone by Ijaw ancestors were the outlaws (opposite of inlaw) and criminals of Ife. They were banished from Yorubaland into exiles. The criminality has not cured in their psyche and you can see how long they've been on the edge of mainstream politics. Every time there is peace on the land Ijaw brews up a new issue to consume everybody. Crazy people! Quite honestly I dont know what their problem is but is quite evident to see that they share a lot with Yoruba, including names and beliefs. I love them just as much as I despise them. |
