Stop Payment Of Electricity Bills Ebonyi State Government Warns by ezenna191(m): 7:57am On Oct 27, 2016
Ebonyi State Government has warned electricity consumers to stop further payment of electricity bills until the electricity distribution company provides prepaid meters to them.
The Commissioner for Power, Mr Emmanuel Uguru handed the warning at an interactive which had representatives of the government, civil society groups and the electricity distribution company in attendance.
Mr Uguru said the power company was reaping Ebonyi citizens dry through estimated bills while electricity was hardly supplied.
The representative of the power distribution company said as a business concern, they adopt the use of estimated bills to make profit.
