Moments ago, there was pandemonium in Igando Community after officers attached to the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW and the Road Transport Employers' Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, were involved in a brawl over hike in ticket fees.
While InsideMailand cannot independently ascertain if lives and properties were lost during the brawl, the Rapid Response Squad disclosed that “some union members from both sides sustained various degrees of injuries.”
Presently, the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of the Lagos State Police Command are mobilized to the scene to ensure normalcy returns to the area.
