So because they showed some naked people in a movie its now called porn? interesting

I am thinking of the word to use!!!

hypocrites!!!!!

An African showing a nude scene, all of a sudden they are following the western world? so I cant remember the Chinese putting a gun at Jackie Chan or Jet Li's head for taking their movie on the road from a Martial art movie or director John Woo who produced Face-off or Mission Impossible II,

if the Africans really feels that they need to reject the western culture in their movies, how come their movies have titles like Sharon Stone of Abuja, Desperate Billionaire, Ass on fire, Million Dollar Sisters, Show Girls: Face of Africa 3, Blood Diamonds, Tomorrow Must Wait , Pretty Woman, Lost Kingdom, Love Boat, Passions etc.

how come their movies are not based on storylines of African ancient culture which would require the actors to live in huts, cooking with fire wood, no cars, no shoes, no trousers, no watches, no gold or silver, no machine guns, water from the river etc.

NO NO NO,

But the moment a rival industry takes one step further trying to break boundaries, the ugly heads raises their heads,  whereas you see their jaws drop if it was Halle Berry or Taye Diggs who stripped naked

True. We Africans need to be more open minded.

And which part is good or bad,

are you saying that (lets use a romantic movie as an example) we should copy the diner, the dancing, the cuddles, the kissing and ignore x-plicit scenes like Kim Basinger and Mickey Rouke in 9 1/2 weeks,

Am sorry but the industry is moving on and the moment you get left behind, its catch up you would be playing,

hahahaha!!
the movie heart of men was okay and i dont recommend anyone watch it.
all hype, no show.
and the storyline has been copied several times.
bollywood, then a nigerian movie, now ghanaians have copied.
and the sex scenes were wack as hell! do you even call those sex scenes?
they just put that in the trailer to get people to watch the movie. but its nothing to write home about.
yawn. . .
ill give it 2.5 stars for effort and quality.

You can watch it here http://movies.ghananation.com/Romance/adHF.asp?blurb=2632 but you're going to have to register.

What the heck is this? Was that necessary? Ewwwwww! Because oyinbo people are showing theirs that does not mean they should follow suit. I'd rather they focus on quality and improve on their technology and throw away the 1900 cameras they still use.

Camera is an Oyinbo stuff, may be we stuff that one as well

i think the film was a good one ,

Some of the love scenes were unecessary, but mannnnnnn Majid michel is a good actor, i have a feeling he's good in bed. grin grin lipsrsealed forgive me! could not hold myself

Hummmmmm John Dumelo the supporting actor was also very good.

ouffffffff i loved the love scene with Yvonne Nelson

now i know what Majid's nyash looks like, i have been wondering,

you gus need to watch the Dones of Sakawa, another funny one,

on a second note, if this film is banned then so shd "SHAKIRA"
that film is vulgar
and of course my man majid does not hesitate to take the sex roles

he is slowly becoming the "michael Douglas" of Gollywood
Re: New Ghanaian Movie (Heart Of Men) Is Been Banned In Ghana by vanitty: 5:09pm On Nov 19, 2009

Erm, I understand your point, BUT:

Africans, (specifically Nigerians) had the following things long before the first white person ever showed up:

Trousers, shoes, gold, silver, water reservoirs, primary waterways, multiple storey houses.

Thanks. Just letting you know.
Re: New Ghanaian Movie (Heart Of Men) Is Been Banned In Ghana by Nobody: 10:24pm On Dec 22, 2009
The Ghanaian film sensors board should have simply put it at 18. Simple. Jeez! whats with we Africans and our false modesty Afterall, there are other hard - core foreign movies on sale all over the streets. Why don't they ban the sale of such movies? *Hiss.*

PS: The guy has a nice ass though.
