President Muhammadu Buhari, last week sought the approval of the National Assembly for external borrowing plan of $29.960 billion to execute key infrastructure projects across the country between 2016 and 2018.

The loan, Presidency explained will help achieved projects cut across key sectors of the economy, with special emphasis on infrastructure development, agriculture, health, education, water supply, growth and employment generation, poverty reduction through social safety net programmes and governance and financial management reforms.

Yes... He's making sense because we the youths are going to pay for the debt.

So if the borrowing is not targeted at us to benefit, it's a penny wise...

Ben Bruce is making quite a commonsense.
Nigeria government has recovered more than 3trillion naira according to Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed.
Nigeria Federal legislators allowance and that of others in executive amount to more than 200billion in a year.
Why is our president who came to power on the mantra of change doing the same thing that old regime did?
President Buhari should use the pressure of the moment to force changes in the manner of remuneration accruable to government officials not least the National Assembly.
President Buhari should reduce his feeding allowance and sell off the private jets and use chartered plane to cut cost while deploying the rest of the money to infrastructural reinvigoration.
President Buhari should negotiate with Niger Delta militant, give them back the contract of pipeline protection while putting in motion the constitutional changes that will bring True federalism so that genuine peace will reign for development to thrive.
For the next three years that the projects will last ,Just add up the 3trillion recovered fund + excess presidential feeding allowance + excesses in allowance of law makers and other top officials +fund from sale of useless presidential private jets + free money from oil. it will be more than $50billion. why is President Buhari and Kemi Adeosun planning to further chain Nigerian youth? Why is President Buhari accepting official corruptions?
Buhari surely has no idea of government. He has never done anything different from what it used to be. There is no change in this government, it is all about scam and change.

You are quite ignorant aint you?

So in your tiny mind business loan is the samething as a loan for infrastructure.

Do you know all the richest men in nigeria owe banks billions, now will you call them unsuccessful, and the profitability of their ventured is not in their hands but left for market forces to decide which in many cases are not favourable.

The number one reason for collecting loan from a bank by a bizman if for profitability purposes which is totally different when a govt collect a loan, this loan aint to generate profit but on expenses.

For him to say this means he has not gone through what was sent to the national assembly or he is too dumb to comprehend...

This loans are mostly for capital projects under operate make ur money back and transfer back to Nigeria..

What the loans will be used for is very clear and who will benefit are clear.. . So if he can get.. Its not my fault

As for the excessive money spent on elected leaders. ... Is he not aware that the president has sent for its to be remodeled?? Is he not aware it cant take effect in this administration??

As for the national assembly the president has not power there..

Call me when this man makes some real sense
