Asaba was not even part of Biafra but Soldiers massacred people simply because Asaba was an Igbo city. It is one of the many evils that Nigeria commited against the Igbo nation in the name of a British concocted nonsense called 'one Nigeria'.

But Im happy for 3 things that happened later

1) Murtala Mohammed who led the Second division that committed this genocide was himself gunned down in cold blood less than 10 years later

2) Captain Taiwo who gave order for the massacre was gunned down on the same day as the Devil called Murtala Mohammed.

3) Most of the men of second division who committed this war crime were killed or drowned in the River Niger as they tried to enter Onitsha. Murtala Mohammed, proving himself an incapable military leader by leading 3 disasterous invasions to capture Onitsha from Asaba and he lost much his men due ti the galant efforts of Biafran Soldiers. Murtala Mohammed then later crossed the River Niger and was in Abagana on his way again to Onitsha when what was left of his Soldiers were ambushed by Biafran Soldiers and completely destroyed. Murtala barely came out with his life.

Karma really exists, it destroyed all the people involved in the Asaba massacre

more karma is being visited on the biggest british puppet war criminal gowan.

His people are today been killed like fowls and he cannot do a thing about it. Karma in deed. gowan will rot the hotttest part of hell. Coward and puppet gowan who could not fight man to man but chose to do his british puppet masters bidding by bombing innocent women and childredn in the Biafran markets.

Rotten coward puppet gowan. but for stroke of luck Dasuki would have sent you to your ancestors with former Kaduna Gov who was murdered with Azazi for vowing to name the boko haram killer Dasuki

If you know the history of the war better,Asaba people brought this on themselves in their ill advised bid to distance themselves from the igbos across the Niger.

They welcomed the federal troops with jubilation and declared themselves in support of Nigeria but alas the Hausa troops knew better.

The harbinger of the remote cause of the war was a certain Kaduna Nzeogwu who was from the Asaba region, and if his people can deny the igbos ,who are they to be trusted by the Northern troops.
