Brave and gallant nigerian soldiers were seen singing the national anthem while boko haram's flag was removed and Nigeria's Flag was hoisted at the deserted gamboru town in bornu. It can be recalled that
On the night of 5 May 2014, Boko Haram militants attacked the twin towns of Gamboru in Borno State. Roughly 310 residents were killed in the 12-hour attack, and the town was largely destroyed. Most of the survivors fled to neighbouring Cameroon.
